Story

Kyojin, the Hollow One.

A catastrophic weapon, a calamity that brought devastation,
turning the world to embers and then to ashes.
Long sealed away, it fell into a deep slumber…until the
appearance of a non-human girl endowed with The Power of Creation breaks the seal.

Her name is Chibito, the Sophic.

Destruction and Creation.
The Strongest and the Weakest.

Two beings who were never meant to meet come together.
As they journey on, the world that was once at a standstill begins to move,
slowly weaving the tale of its downfall.

A Dreaded Blight for the Beloved’s Plight.

Thus, the chronicle of a world that is as beautiful as it is sorrowful unfolds…

World

The World–two realms intertwined like the shifting sands of an hourglass.

Miyako, a land where its inhabitants seek redemption through lives of penance, striving to cleanse their sins and uphold moral virtue.

Hakoniwa, a land where beings born from the offered sins of Miyako’s people manifest as anomalies.

Miyako breathes life into Hakoniwa, while Hakoniwa returns purified souls to Miyako, sustaining an age-old equilibrium.

Yet, an unforeseen disturbance shattered Hakoniwa’s delicate balance. No longer content with merely sins, it began to consume the very souls of Miyako’s denizens.

With the cycle in disarray, Miyako, plagued by a relentless drain on its souls, spiraled towards decline, teetering on the brink of extinction...

Two distinct worlds are linked like an hourglass.

In one world, "Miyako," people strive to atone for their sins and lead moral lives.

In the other world, "Hakoniwa," strange creatures dwell, born from the sins offered in atonement by the people of Miyako.

Miyako gives life to Hakoniwa, and Hakoniwa sends back purified souls to Miyako.

This cycle maintained the balance between the two worlds for ages.

However, a sudden anomaly arose in Hakoniwa, the place that receives sins.

Hakoniwa began to absorb not only sins but also the very souls of the people living in Miyako.

With the cycle broken and souls continuously drained, Miyako is declining, and now faces the threat of calamity.

What was once a world that served as a refuse heap for all that was deemed unnecessary by Miyako was, over time, transformed by the world’s overseer, Tsuguto, into a prosperous realm where the togabito–sinners–now live.

A world created by the divine as the perfect realm for humans according to the gods. Structures spread out within this expanse, exuding a sense of artificiality despite their grandeur. In Miyako, everything is meticulously regulated; desires and negative emotions are cast away as evils and discarded into the Hakoniwa.

The Sophic; the protagonist of IZON.
Despite her brave exterior, Chibito is inherently kind-hearted and often feels lonely. She possesses a rare ability known as The Power of Creation, but struggles to master it. Her unique background has left her among the weakest beings in Hakoniwa.

Fate brings her to Kyojin, the Hollow One. Initially, she views it merely as a means of survival, but as time passes, they form a deep emotional bond and become dependent on each other.

Chibito, who possesses The Power of Creation, forges the path they must follow, while Kyojin, who wields The Power of Destruction, eliminates all obstacles in their way.
IZON. is a co-dependent adventure game that unfolds the story of these two beings–the strongest and weakest cast aside by the world.

The Power of Creation

Chibito, targeted by enemies, is extremely vulnerable and would quickly lose her life without constant protection. However, she can harness The Power of Creation to utilize the materials and remnants destroyed by Kyojin, thereby supporting him.

Catastrophe Animated

Kyojin can overwhelm enemies with devastating force, but the need to protect Chibito at all times prevents it from using its full strength continuously?requiring a tactical balance between defense and combat, adapted to the circumstances.

When Creation and Destruction–two opposing forces–unite, a greater power emerges…
